Recreation On Campus for Kids (R.O.C.K.S)

Recreation on Campus for Kids (R.O.C.K.S) after school program is a fee-based program. The R.O.C.K.S Program provides supervision by City of Costa Mesa Parks & Community Services staff on the school’s playground Monday through Friday from the time school is dismissed until 6:00 p.m. for children in grades Kinder-6. The program is open during the school year and is closed during all school holidays, in-service days, and vacation breaks. Learn and grow in a supervised environment with activities like sport, games, arts, and crafts and homework time.

Active Learning After School Program

Active Learning's award-winning after school program is here to keep students moving, learning and having fun. This is a fee-based program for children in TK-6th grade. The Active Learning Program provides supervision Monday through Friday from the time school is dismissed until 6:00 p.m. The program is open during the school year and is closed during all school holidays, in-service days, and vacation breaks. This program focuses on four areas: homework help, sports & recreation, arts enrichment, and STEM adventures.

Active Learning 1-Hour Wednesdays Program

Join us every Wednesday from the time school is dismissed until 2:30pm for a fun-filled hour of creativity, movement, and discovery. Students rotate through exciting activities like: fine arts, dance, music, STEM challenges, fun fitness & sports, teamwork & mindfulness. This is a fee-based program for children in TK-6th grade. The program is open during the school year and is closed during all school holidays, in-service days, and vacation breaks.

Run Club

This is a 10-week training program from February – May (2.5 miles per week) that culminates with the last mile run at the “Kids Run the OC Marathon” (Kids Run the OC Website), equaling 26 miles total.
