Emergency Procedure
During an emergency such as an earthquake, the procedure for picking up students by parents will be similar to checking students out from class on a normal day. Parents and guardians should identify the reunification table which will be set up outside one of the campus entry points. Please wait there and do not enter the campus.
California staff will find your child’s emergency release card and then send a messenger or radio the student management team where your child is being supervised by staff. They will then send your child to the reunification table. The student will then be released into your care.
If you are willing and able California School would like to organize a team of parent volunteers who would form a team to help in the unification process. If you are interested please contact the main office and they will put you in contact with the appropriate school personnel.
