California School PTA welcomes you to an exciting 2014-2015 school year! The PTA is a volunteer organization with membership open to everyone: parents, grandparents, neighbors, teachers and students. The purpose of the PTA is to promote parent and community involvement and to ensure our children receive the best physical, mental and social education. We invite you to join our PTA and become part of the largest child advocacy group in the state!
Here at California School, the PTA provides enrichment programs such as Art Masters and Walk Through History, and exciting assemblies like The Imagination Machine. The PTA also hosts the annual Book Fair and brings the community together through family events like the popular Halloween Hoot and Pottery Night.
We would love to have all Cougar families join the PTA. Your membership does not obligate you to volunteer- you can participate at any level wish. Being a PTA member gives families an opportunity to be more involved in social events and assemblies and provides a forum for exchanging ideas. Most importantly, it shows your child that you support California Elementary and this important parent group! PTA Association meetings are open to everyone, so please join us! We are meeting in the MPR at 7pm on September 16, November 18, January 13, March 17 and May 12.

- Include $11.00/member, cash or check, payable to California School PTA.
- Have your child return it to his/her teacher.
Every student that returns a completed membership envelope, with or without membership dues, will receive a prize.
